On 11/8/2015 I presented a workshop at Limmud, titled, Tehini: A Recipe for Connection. My topic will take a look at how Tehini is a core ingredient in the recipe for connection with others.
Food is necessary for survival. Tehini originates from the Middle East. The history, ingredients, uses and methods to incorporate into life are examined.
How does this paste actually connect us to each other?
What degree of importance do we value our connections?
How do we understand the recipes of connections with our family, friends, community?
Come learn and get a taste of the paste that glues us all together.
